Peloton instructor Tunde Oyeneyin has landed her biggest acting role to date, joining the cast of Tyler Perry’s “Sistas” as a series regular for the TV show’s 10th season on BET.
Tunde shared the news via Instagram, saying:
“Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!! I couldn’t be more excited to join the cast of Sistas!!!! Season 10 premiere Wednesday, January 7 @ 9pm. So honored to stand next to this incredible cast!!!! I can’t wait to share more with you!!! Dreams really do come true 💫”
According to a Deadline article, Tunde will play Madison Truitt, described as “a powerful, self-assured entrepreneur whose commanding presence and unapologetic ambition have carved her a space in a male-dominated world. Beneath her polished exterior lies a yearning for love and partnership—one that matches her strength, despite whispers that her standards are too high.”
The TV show follows a group of single Black women as they navigate their complicated love lives, careers, and friendships.
This marks a significant milestone in Tunde’s acting career. She made her first on-screen acting appearance in the Hulu series “Life & Beth” in 2024, and more recently voiced a Fitness Instructor in the Disney+ animated film “Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw” in December 2025. She has previously mentioned that she started auditioning for roles some time ago.
The role also comes full circle in another way: Tunde was named to the 2024 BET Culture Class, honoring her influence and impact – and now she’s starring in one of BET’s flagship series.
Tyler Perry, the show’s creator and executive producer, said of the new season: “The longevity of Sistas is a testament to the incredible audience who has so deeply connected to the show. I know they will be invested in every plot line, every character, and a lot is going to happen this season. As always, we’ve got some big surprises, twists, and turns. It will not disappoint!”
