The San Francisco 49ers NFL football team is giving every player and coach a Peloton Bike and cycling shoes as a gift for making it to the Super Bowl.
David Lombardi, a staff writer for The Athletic, posted the update to X (Twitter):
The 49ers organization is giving every player and coach a Super Bowl gift: a Peloton bike and shoes.
(NFL rules allow Super Bowl gifts to players under about $1,700 in value)
Peloton retweeted the post to their own page, as well as a post from Matt Barrows, another reporter for The Athletic.
Since the NFL only permits gifts up to $1,700 in value, each player and coach is most likely receiving an original Peloton Bike, which currently retails for $1,445. Players and coaches are also being provided Peloton cycling shoes to accompany the bike.

The 2024 Super Bowl game will take place on Sunday, February 11 in Las Vegas, and will pit the 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs.
