Peloton is gearing up for a brand-new type of challenge next month – their first-ever triathlon-themed event called “The Peloton Tri,” scheduled for Saturday, September 13, 2025.
Peloton teased the event by saying:
Introducing the Peloton Tri. Join Matt Wilpers on Saturday, September 13 for three back-to-back workouts on the Row, Tread, and Bike starting at 9AM ET. Keep an eye on the schedule to count yourself in.
The event will feature three consecutive live classes with Matt Wilpers – the only Peloton instructor to teach on all three of Peloton’s hardware devices – all 30 minutes in length.
Though the exact schedule has not yet been released, the first class will begin at 9:00am ET. Members can of course join the event from home; but there will also be opportunities to participate in-person at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) as well.
Peloton has sent exclusive invites to some members to participate in studio at Peloton Studios New York through a “Tri-Peloton Competitor Submission Form,” a Google Form collecting entries from members who not only want to participate, but actually compete in the experience. The form states that those competing will “be cheered on by other members in our studios and the Peloton community during this unforgettable event at home.”

Participants must be available onsite at PSNY beginning at 7:30am and lasting until 12:00pm on event day. Completing the form does not guarantee participation; Peloton will select participants through an undisclosed method, and those selected will need to confirm their participation on a first come, first served basis.
For those interested in participating in-person but not as a competitor, spots will open for the Peloton Tri classes on Thursday, August 21 at 12:00pm ET – the standard studio booking opening time. If you want to increase your chances for securing a spot, check out our in-depth booking guidelines and top tips & tricks to make sure you’re as prepared as possible.
Finally, all members will be able to participate in the Peloton Tri from home, as each class will take place live from PSNY and then become available in the on-demand library. We will share the full class schedule as details are announced.
To help members get ready, Peloton has launched a dedicated Peloton Tri Collection, featuring 21 easy-to-stack prep classes across four curated stacks.
Three of the stacks combine running, riding, and rowing classes, while one focuses entirely on stretching. Peloton’s official collection description reads:
Prepping for the Peloton Tri on Saturday, September 13? We’ve curated these easy-to-stack prep classes to get you ready.
The prep classes are available now under Collections on the Peloton platform and can be accessed through hardware devices, the app, or web browser.
This marks the first time Peloton has brought together rowing, running, and cycling in a single structured challenge, blending the energy of three disciplines into one endurance-packed morning with Matt Wilpers.
