Peloton has released a new style of split strength training programs – along with a new bike bootcamp instructor.
The new “Split+” Peloton programs are an evolution of Peloton’s traditional split strength training programs, which it has been releasing periodically over time.

Now, instead of just traditional strength classes, the “Split+” programs are one week program of bootcamp classes – with the strength portion of the bootcamp focusing on one particular body area. Each class will see a strength segment followed by a cardio segment on the Bike, Tread, or Row. The breakdown is expected to roughly be 75% strength, and 25% cardio (row, ride, or run).
Peloton has released Split+ programs across multiple modalities – all 4 day programs. There are is now a “Split + Row” program, a “Split + Run” program, as well as two new “Split + Ride” programs.
Like traditional split strength programs, these 1 week programs are designed to be repeated, and taken multiple times. Then, over time, you can track your progress and see your improvement.
With the launch of this new program, Ben Alldis has been added as a Bike Bootcamp instructor. Ben’s 4-Day Split + Ride program are his first bike bootcamp classes.
The current list of new Peloton “Split+” programs are:
- Ben Alldis’ 4-Day Split + Ride
- Cliff Dwenger’s 4-Day Split + Ride (German)
- Katie Wang’s 4-Day Split + Row
- Olivia Amato’s 4-Day Split + Run
Each of the programs above is linked to the details page for the program, where you can find the full class list & details on each program.
The format of all of these Peloton Split+ programs are similar and follow the same general structure:
- Day 1 – 30 min Upper Body Push + Cardio (Row, Ride, or Run)
- Day 2 – 45 min Lower Body + Cardio (Row, Ride, or Run)
- Day 4 – 30 min Upper Body Pull + Cardio< (Row, Ride, or Run)
- Day 5 – 30 min Core + Cardio< (Row, Ride, or Run)
Peloton introduced these programs by saying:
We’re taking split training to the next level with new Split+ programs 🔋 4 days of targeted strength workouts each ending with a cardio finisher on the Bike, Tread or Row 🤝🏼
