New Peloton Sled Mode collection & classes

Peloton Releases First Sled Mode Classes & a New Sled Mode Collection

Peloton has released their first Sled Mode classes, with six new workouts launching with a new Sled Mode collection.

All six classes were released on Thursday, October 1 at 12:00am ET, the same day Peloton began gradually rolling out Sled Mode to all Tread+ owners.

Peloton describes the new Sled Mode collection by saying:

“Ready to train like a pro? Sled Mode adds resistance to your slat belt to mimic elite cross-training competitions. Give it a push and build serious lower body power.”

You can view the complete list of new Peloton sled mode classes for the Tread+ below:

  • 20 min Intro to Sled Training – Andy Speer – 10/1/26 @ 12:00am ET [On Demand]
  • 5 min Sled Warm Up – Andy Speer – 10/1/26 @ 12:00am ET [On Demand]
  • 15 min Sled: Strength – Marcel Dinkins – 10/1/26 @ 12:00am ET [On Demand]
  • 20 min Sled: Strength – Adrian Williams – 10/1/26 @ 12:00am ET [On Demand]
  • 15 min Sled: Strength & Conditioning – Logan Aldridge – 10/1/26 @ 12:00am ET [On Demand]
  • 20 min Sled: Strength & Conditioning – Matt Wilpers – 10/1/26 @ 12:00am ET [On Demand]

Andy Speer’s 20 min Intro to Sled Training is designed as the starting point, with Andy breaking down different sled techniques and helping members find the appropriate weight calibration for their goals.

His 5 min Sled Warm Up is designed to prepare members before moving into one of the longer workouts.

From there, the collection has two main formats. The Sled: Strength classes from Marcel Dinkins and Adrian Williams focus on heavy sled pushes for lower-body strength, glutes, and core stability.

The Sled: Strength & Conditioning workouts from Logan Aldridge and Matt Wilpers use dynamic sled intervals to combine strength work with a cardio challenge.

In case you missed it, we first shared last week that Peloton was adding Sled Mode to every generation of Tread+. Logan Aldridge and Andy Speer were among the instructors Peloton previewed for the new workout format, with Matt Wilpers, Marcel Dinkins, and Adrian Williams now also part of the launch lineup.

Sled Mode is available on the Tread+ Vision, Cross Training Tread+, and Original Series Tread+. It is not available on Tread Flex, Tread Vision, Cross Training Tread, or the Original Series Tread because the feature requires the Tread+’s slat belt.

To activate Sled Mode, members first bring the Tread+ to 0 mph and 0% incline, then press the physical Free Mode button on the handrail. An on-screen control can then be used to add between 30 and 300 pounds of resistance to the belt. The selected resistance does not carry over each time Sled Mode is activated. Members need to choose their desired weight again for each sled interval.

Sled Mode also has its own workout metrics. While it is active, members can see their Sled Speed, Pace, Output, and Distance in meters. Afterward, Workout History displays “Sled Splits” for each portion of the workout where Sled Mode was enabled, including the Speed, Output, Weight, and Distance from each interval. Those Sled Mode metrics can also be viewed in Workout History through the Peloton App.

Members are not limited to the six coached workouts. Sled Mode can also be used during Just Run sessions, and Peloton says they will be adding a dedicated Sled Mode filter to the class library.

Peloton recommends making sure the Tread+ software is fully up to date if sled mode is not yet available.

Peloton has specifically described Sled Mode as a HYROX training feature, and the sled push is one of the standard stations in a HYROX race. Hyrox and Peloton launched a partnership last year.
