For the second time this month, Peloton will be conducting some scheduled maintenance on their servers & the Peloton platform.
The latest scheduled maintenance on Peloton will be on September 25th, 2024 from 9:30pm – 12:00am ET. Peloton did not specify exactly what they hoped to accomplish with the maintenance, other than to say they will be “performing an update.”
As with previous updates, the message warns that Peloton may be down during this time – although they hope to avoid that.
The full alert about the maintenance on Peloton reads:
We will be performing an update on the Peloton platform between 9:30pm – 12:00am ET on Wednesday, September 25th. We take every effort to ensure a seamless experience for our members, but you may experience service interruption during this time.
This means if you are unable to take Peloton classes tonight – it is not entirely unexpected, and likely due to the maintenance that is taking place.

This follows a round of scheduled maintenance which took place on September 4th. The messaging for that maintenance was similar – and resulted in about 45 minutes of downtime with some members unable to take classes.
When the last round of feedback was announced, members noted that the window fell during when many west coast USA members tend to workout – with that maintenance having started at 8:00pm ET, or 5:00pm PT. This maintenance window starts an hour and a half later – not starting until 6:30pm PT. It is not clear if previous feedback had any impact on this shifting of when the maintenance would be starting.
Should the outage be extended past the scheduled window, we will be sure to share any updates.
