Recap of Peloton’s “IRL @ F1 Las Vegas” Classes at Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix

Last month, Peloton teamed up with F1 to become an “official fitness partner” of the F1 Grand Prix weekend in Las Vegas. In addition to the advertising & commercials during the race – Peloton took the opportunity to record some “In Real Life (IRL)” classes from Las Vegas.

These classes (two rides, one run, and a core strength class) were recorded from the Awakening Theater in the Wynn Las Vegas during the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix F1 race weekend. The classes were not broadcast live on Peloton – they were instead pre-recorded and added as on-demand releases.

The Awakening Theater in Las Vegas, Nevada is a 360-degree round venue with a custom glass stage, integrated LED screens, and an immersive sound design. By bringing Peloton classes into this space, the company transformed routine cycling, running, and core workouts into part-performance, part-event.

The “Peloton IRL” classes that were recorded during the F1 weekend in Las Vegas were:

These classes were later assembled into a dedicated “Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix 2025 Class Collection”.

While the classes have the standard Peloton elements, with the instructors leading members through a workout – these classes go on to include extra production elements, and some pre-recorded video clips included in each class.

The four classes (two cycling rides, one run, and one core/strength session) share the same introductory clip highlighting the collaboration between F1 and Peloton.

Each class also includes additional moments featuring the instructors, along with a clip of Cody Rigsby engaging in various activities around Las Vegas. These segments, placed either within or at the end of the classes, add an entertainment layer that makes the series feel commemorative and unique.

During each of the classes, members were greeted with high-octane lights on the stage and throughout the theater. Unique camera angles provided 360-degree views during all of the sessions, with the most impressive being the overhead shot for at-home riders.

Alex’s video intro highlighted the importance of having a coach.

Alex used songs that gave members permission to dance on the bike while staying true to his no-nonsense training style and incorporating racing elements into the ride. It felt as if he were training you to be an F1 driver, preparing you for race day and pushing you with each drive to reach the finish line.

The outro video for Alex’s class showcased Cody Rigsby hosting a golf game.

Emma Lovewell’s video intro noted how Peloton & F1 are both adrenaline filled.

During Emma’s ride, she used her intentional style to lead both in-studio members and at-home riders through a ride that felt like being part of a larger team. She included cadence and resistance callouts aimed at helping riders push toward a better version of themselves, pairing them with motivational quotes and high-energy music.

In one of Emma’s outro videos, Cody Rigsby played poker with Emma in a Las Vegas casino.

Emma also taught a 20 minute core class. Here, she brought a different level of excitement to her signature core session. Stepping off her usual studio platform and onto a mat in the Awakening Theater, she led members through a high-energy series of movements that ranged from crunches to jumping jacks. The class also included boxing moves, plank variations, neck-strengthening exercises, and more. Emma emphasized how important this type of training is for F1 drivers, and she offered modifications for participants as needed.

Emma’s second outro video had Cody Rigsby taking part in a card trick.

Lastly, there was a Tread class with Becs Gentry, filmed without members in the theater. Her intro video showed Bec’s love of F1.

The class still packed the speed and intensity expected from Becs. A dedicated F1 fan, she made her excitement clear as she guided riders into the world of F1 and the Peloton partnership. She structured the run the way a driver approaches a race, beginning with a warmup lap and building into the final push. She delivered a race strategy you didn’t know you needed—one that can be applied both on the Tread and in pursuit of personal goals. She had a special guest, musician Kane Brown, who gave some running motivation on the video screen while Becs instructed. She was able to educate the members about F1 while making it relatable to the runners and members taking the class.

Her outro video showed Cody Rigsby getting dancing lessons at Thunderland.

In addition to the live-class series, Peloton also recorded new “Scenic” ride and run classes from the actual Las Vegas Strip Circuit, the 3.8-mile F1 track. The track features 17 turns and views of the Strip. These scenic classes (which are only available on Peloton Treads & Bikes like all other scenic classes) allow Peloton members to virtually ride or run the race circuit from home.

By merging high-production live classes, cinematic Scenic sessions, and instructor-driven content tailored specifically for the Grand Prix environment, Peloton created a hybrid of sport, entertainment, and fitness that goes far beyond a typical partnership activation. It hints at a future where Peloton classes are not only workouts, but fully produced, location-driven experiences filmed in some of the world’s most iconic venues.
