First Episodes of “Peloton Off Air” Released

Peloton has released the first two episodes of “Off Air,” their new social media series.

As we shared last month, Peloton began teasing a new social media initiative featuring instructors; however, at the time it was unclear whether the format of the teaser was an indication of the exact premise of “Off Air,” or just an example of the type of content the series might cover.

The first two episodes suggest the former. The teaser explains that instructors will be assigned to a specific Peloton department and will “shadow” a team with the hopes of gaining a better grasp on the business as a whole.

The first episode features Cody Rigsby shadowing the Human Resources department. Peloton shared the episode via Instagram, writing:

Cody goes corporate 😏. OFF AIR Episode 1 : “Hi Boo! Meet HR”

In the video, Cody leads Peloton’s New Hire Orientation, which includes fellow instructor Greta Dopp. Chaos quickly ensues.

The second episode features Kirsten Ferguson shadowing the security team. Peloton shared the episode via Instagram, writing:

Nothing gets past Kirsten👀. OFF AIR Episode 2: “Eyes Everywhere”

Kristen takes this role extremely seriously and again, chaos quickly ensues.

Now that the first two episodes of “Off Air” have dropped, it is clear that the content will cover instructors exploring different departments in the format of short, highly-produced highlight reels.

This approach stands in stark contrast to Peloton’s other recent content release, “At The Next Table.” That series has taken a much more in-depth route, with episodes running 50 minutes or longer and diving into deeper, more personal conversations – like the first episode centered around themes of sisterhood.

The exact cadence of “Off Air” is unclear, but Peloton has already released two episodes in a matter of three weeks.

Are you enjoying the series so far, and which instructor(s) do you hope to see featured next?
