Peloton released its newest round of Metrics classes on June 10.
First released in April 2024, the Peloton Metrics class style is a “workout forward class where the music does most of the talking.”
Rather than typical classes where the instructor tells stories and has a conversation with members, these workouts are more of a fitness coach style where the instructor provides the workout plan and give cues throughout – and that is it. The only talking the coach does is related to the workout itself and the efforts

Seven classes were released to the on-demand library in April when the metric classes first came back.
This latest batch contains six classes, including cycling, a run, walk, and row, as well as one class in German. A detailed list of the newest Metrics classes can be found below.
- 45 min. Metrics Ride – Leanne Hainsby-Alldis – 6/10/24 @ 11:00am ET
- 20 min. Metrics Ride – Tunde Oyeneyin – 6/10/24 @ 11:00am ET
- 20 min. Metrics Ride – Benny Adami – 6/10/24 @ 11:00am ET [German]
- 30 min. Metrics Run – Susie Chan – 6/10/24 @ 11:00am ET
- 20 min. Metrics Walk + Run – Selena Samuela – 6/10/24 @ 11:00am ET
- 20 min. Metrics Row – Katie Wang – 6/10/24 @ 11:00am ET
There is also a Metrics class collection to help make it easier to find these classes.

It isn’t clear if there will be a regular cadence to when batches of new Metrics classes will drop (this batch was released over 2 months after the first drop). However, these classes are great options for members who just want to focus on the workout. While Metrics classes are not classified as Benchmark classes, if you’d like to just focus on the workout at hand you could certainly use a Metrics class to repeat and track your improvement over time.
If you do enjoy when instructors share their personal stories during class, give shout outs to members with milestones, and the overall energy that comes with non-Metrics focused classes, then Metrics classes might not be the best fit for you.
