Peloton’s June “Workouts to Watch” email teased what is coming this month, including Marcel Dinkins’s first program and the return of the Juneteenth “Cookout” ride with Alex Toussaint and Tunde Oyeneyin.
Marcel Dinkins is set to release her first program, a four-week running program called “The Progressive Method,” beginning June 28.
Peloton wrote:
“Take your running to the next level in Marcel’s first program. Over 4 weeks, you’ll steadily increase your running time, build confidence, and learn techniques to enhance every step. Starting 28 June.”

The emphasis on steadily increasing running time and building confidence suggests a foundational, build-up approach rather than race-specific training. Peloton is also bringing back “The Cookout,” a Juneteenth two-for-one ride with Alex Toussaint and Tunde Oyeneyin, as part of a set of Juneteenth classes dropping on demand. The official class description reads:
“You’re invited to the Cookout! In celebration of Juneteenth, join Alex and Tunde in this 2 for 1 Ride! Bring your friends and family, pull up in your best summer outfit, and get ready to dance, sing, and sweat in this fun workout.”

This will be one of a number of Juneteenth rides released later this month. Peloton also had several special Juneteenth classes, and a cookout ride with Alex & Tunde, last year.
