Lunar New Year, also known as Chinese New Year or Spring Festival, will begin on Saturday, January 29, 2025. It marks the start of the Year of the Snake, according to the Chinese zodiac. The celebrations typically last 15 days, culminating in the Lantern Festival on Sunday, February 9, 2025.

Peloton has observed Lunar New Year in previous years, including 2024, 2023 and 2022. There is even a special badges awarded for Peloton’s Lunar New Year content. You can see a list of Peloton’s badges here.

Peloton has also historically held special in-person events surrounding Lunar New Year. There has already been one event announced for 2025: an outdoor run in London with Hannah Frankson and Susie Chan. We will share updates regarding any additional in-person events as they become available.
