After their first Members’ Weekend at Peloton on June 7-8, 2024, lululemon is teasing another event slated for the fall of 2024.
Update – The second Peloton x lululemon members weekend will be Sept 13-14, 2024.
lululemon posted a recap video to Instagram, with the caption:
Our first-ever Members’ Weekend event was our kind of party. Will you join us for the next one this fall?
Peloton announced their first lululemon Members’ Weekend last month, and it took place at Peloton Studios New York (PSNY) this past weekend from Friday, June 7 to Saturday, June 8.
The event is essentially a takeover of the studios and all classes for the specified period of time. Members were able to attend on an invite-only basis. lululemon sent out invites to the event to “a select group of valued members.” via an email, which stated that this event was their way of “saying thanks” for being a part of the lululemon Membership community.
In addition to the in-person classes at PSNY on Friday and Saturday (which aired live and are available on-demand like all other Peloton classes), there were also three special events throughout the two-day period: a meet & greet with Chelsea, Cody, and Kendall; an outdoor run with Rebecca Kennedy; and a wrap party. All of the instructors made sure to sport lululemon apparel, and gave extra plugs for lululemon Members’ Weekend throughout the various classes.
lululemon’s latest post indicates they are planning another event for this fall, though an exact date has not yet been revealed. However, it does appear that this event will once again be invite-only. A number of comments were left on lululemon’s Instagram post inquiring about the attendance process, to which lululemon replied:
“Invites for our Membership Weekend and Summer Series events are sent through email notifications. To find out about future offerings, sign up for your local store’s mailing list to learn about all the events coming up in your area. You can do this either by visiting your local store and signing up with an Educator instore or by using the store locator on our website to find your preferred store and subscribing at the bottom of the page.”
lululemon also clarified via the comments that “this is an invite-only offering that was extended to a limited group of members” – however, they do not clarify how exactly they determined who received the invitation to attend.
