Intervals & Arms Rowing Classes on the Way to Peloton

Peloton is bringing their “Intervals & Arms” classes to the Peloton Row.

The upcoming Peloton class schedule currently shows Katie Wang scheduled to teach a 20 minute “Intervals & Arms Row” class on Thursday, April 25th @ 6:00am ET.

This is the first time Peloton has had an Intervals & Arms class on the row (or to any discipline besides the bike – as they are not currently available for running or walking classes either).

The class description reads:

Bursts of effort alternated with free weight segments, this row will challenge your mind and strengthen your body from the inside out.

Katie Wang recently posted to Instagram confirming the new class type, with a video showing her stealing the weights from the bike studio.

She said:

The time has come for Intervals & Arms to hit the row! 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 grab those light weights and join me LIVE next Thursday 4/25 at 6am EST for the first of many Intervals and Arms together‼️🚨⏰

Peloton has long had rowing bootcamp classes – where members take turns alternating between segments on the row and then getting off the row to do strength workouts. This would likely be a less intimidating way to introduce the rowing community to strength training, and perhaps guide them to try full bootcamps. This month Peloton is also hosting tag team row bootcamp classes with guest instructors, another way to entice people to try row bootcamp classes.

This is the second new type of classes available on the row this month. On April 2nd, Peloton launched metrics classes – some of which are available on the row.

Will you try an Intervals & Arms class on the row?
