Peloton held instructor summits earlier this week in both New York City and London. These took place during the Spring Studio closure, which saw the studios closed with no classes from April 15th – 22nd.
Last year, Peloton held a “global” instructor summit in NYC and flew all the UK-based coaches in. This was the same format for the 2021 instructor summit.
This year, the Peloton instructor summit was slightly modified – and Peloton held two smaller instructor summits. One took place in New York City for the US-based team, while the other took place later in the week for the UK-based team. However, Robin Arzon and Ally Love attend both summits – flying over to London to mingle with the UK-based team.
The first of the two 2024 Peloton Instructor Summits was held in New York on Tuesday, April 16. Social media posts showed the instructors participating in a Murder Mystery game that evening, and dance breaks during the day. In addition to team building and bonding, it’s likely some meetings and discussions were taking place as well.
On Thursday, April 18, the second session of the 2024 Peloton Instructor Summit was held in London. Social media posts seemed to indicate the format & content was similar to the NYC summit – down to the team also having their own murder mystery dinner.
Outside of the summit, it appears Peloton spent some time during the closure for photoshoots with some of the instructors. Social Media posts by Matt Wilpers, Kirsten Ferguson, Becs Gentry, Mariana Fernández, and others indicated that they were doing photo shoots of some sort.
