New “Feature”: Peloton Feed Now Only Shows Activities with Milestones & Badges + Team Updates

Last month we shared that Peloton updated the Community Feed within the app, adding comments and making the Feed the default view inside the Community tab. Much of the initial attention focused on the ability to react and comment directly on posts.

However, alongside that change came another significant update – a shift in what actually appears in the Feed itself.

Previously, the Feed displayed all workout activity from you and the members you follow. If a friend completed a 20-minute ride, a strength class, or even a short stretch, it would appear in your activity stream.

Now, on iOS and Android, that is no longer the case. Instead, the Feed only shows workouts where a member has earned a badge or milestone, such as hitting a class milestone, maintaining a streak, or completing a special event workout. In addition to these achievement-based workouts, the Feed also includes posts from Teams and occasional recommended content from Official Peloton Teams.

Notably, if you access the Feed via the Peloton website, it still displays all workout activity as before. This change currently applies only to the digital app experience.

When members first began noticing the difference, many questioned whether it was a bug. Feedback across the community has skewed rather negative, with some users expressing that they miss seeing the everyday activity of their friends rather than only milestone moments. However, a recently published support page confirms that this is working exactly as intended.

According to Peloton’s support page, the updated Community Feed is designed to highlight workouts where badges or special achievements are earned. The support page reads:

The new Peloton Community feed unifies all of your social activity together, making it easier to connect with your community and discover new content. This feature combines posts from your joined Teams, workout activity from members you follow, and relevant community content into one seamless feed. The Community Feed will be your central hub for social motivation on the Peloton App. By unifying workout activity and team posts, it ensures you never miss a moment of encouragement or connection.

The idea is to prioritize celebratory milestones instead of displaying every completed workout. The support page also explains that the Community Feed unifies social activity into a single stream, combining achievement-based workout posts from members you follow with posts from Teams you have joined, as well as occasional recommended posts from Public Official Peloton Teams you may not yet be part of.

The Feed is generally ordered in reverse chronological order, showing the newest content first. Members can react to and comment on achievement posts directly from the Feed. Team posts, whether from public or private Teams you’ve joined, also appear in this unified stream, and you can interact with them in the same way. If recommended content from Official Peloton Teams appears and you are not interested, there is an option to hide that Team’s posts from your Feed unless you choose to join.

Peloton’s FAQ directly addresses what has become the most common question: why members can no longer see all of their own workouts or the full workout activity from those they follow. The support page explains that the Community Feed now focuses specifically on workouts where badges or special achievements were earned, including milestones, streaks, and special events. Members who want to view their complete workout history can still do so within the Progress section of their profile.

Overall, this marks a clear shift in how Peloton is positioning the Feed. Rather than functioning as a comprehensive activity log, the Community Feed on the app is now designed to be a more curated, celebration-focused social hub centered on milestones and community interaction.

Whether members ultimately prefer this approach or the previous all-activity view remains to be seen; but for now, Peloton has confirmed that this milestone-only display is the intended experience on iOS and Android. For more information, check out the dedicated support page.

Please go back to the old feed. The new feed is terrible. We all would like to see all our friend’s workouts & acccomplishments all on one page like a feed should be.
