Feed Feature in Peloton App Shows All Workouts Again

Peloton has quietly rolled back a change it made to the Feed feature earlier this year.

As of this week, the Feed in the Peloton app once again shows all workouts from members you follow, not just those workouts that included a badge or milestone.

Earlier this year, Peloton updated the Feed to only show workouts where a member earned a badge or milestone. That change frustrated a lot of members who used the Feed primarily as a way to keep up with their friends’ day-to-day activity, regardless of whether a particular workout earned a badge or hit a milestone.

The complaints have been fairly consistent in the months since the change rolled out.

Now, that update appears to have been reversed. Members are once again seeing the full activity stream of workouts from friends and members they follow, including everyday classes that don’t trigger a badge or milestone.

This also means workouts imported from third party devices like Garmin also show in the feed as well.

The Feed will still surface some suggested content, including team updates and other algorithmic recommendations, alongside the friend activity. But the core of the experience is back to what members were used to before the March change.

The feed will still also respect the privacy settings of individual users as well.

One thing that has not changed: the Feed is still no longer available on the web version of Peloton, which Peloton removed earlier this year. So while the in-app Feed is back to its more useful state, members who liked checking the Feed from a desktop browser are still out of luck on that front.

Have you noticed the change in your Peloton Feed this week?
