EARNT x Peloton Event with Sam Yo & Jermaine Johnson in Edinburgh, Scotland

Peloton is teaming up with EARNT for their second event, this time in Edinburgh, Scotland. Peloton instructors Sam Yo & Jermaine Johnson will be taking part in the event as well.

This event is taking place on December 13 – 14, and is in collaboration with the local community center – Pilton Community Health Project.

The event is two parts – first a day of service volunteering on Saturday, followed by a bodyweight strength class on Sunday. The strength class is free – but you “earn” your way into it by volunteering on Saturday.

EARNT teases the event as follows:

Peloton, the world’s leading interactive fitness platform, is teaming up with EARNT to show that fitness can do far more than build strength — it can build purpose. Together, we’re bringing that trademark Peloton energy to Edinburgh: the motivation, the community, the fun. The same spirit that makes Peloton so loved around the world by making fitness entertaining, approachable, effective, and social, is being channelled into something even bigger. We’re connecting sweat with social good showing exactly what we can do when we come together.

On Saturday, you will join both Sam Yo & Jermaine Johnson for the volunteer work from 10:00am – 1:00pm. It says the work could involve a “mix of activities from making hampers to give to the community, as well as painting and even a spot of gardening.”

Then on Sunday, Jermaine will lead a 30 minute body weight strength class, which will take place from 9:30am – 10:30am. It also teases that you’ll have “a chat to him and ask everything you’ve ever wanted to about Peloton, JJ and all things wellness.” The website notes that while both Sam & Jermaine will be there on Saturday, only Jermaine will be there for the class Sunday.

The event is in partnership with the Pilton Community Health Project in Edinburgh, who “tackle the effects of health inequalities by supporting people to take steps to better health by taking control of their own health and wellbeing.”

This is Peloton’s second event they have done in partnership with EARNT. The first was an event with Ben Alldis & Hannah Frankson in Newcastle in November.

Those who wish to take part in the event with Sam & Jermaine can register on the Earnt website here. While the event is free, there are limited spots, so signing up in advance is required.
