Cody Rigsby will be making a guest appearance on the Tread this week.
While the Tread & Cycling studios have been closed in New York to install 4K cameras, several instructors have been teaching classes from New York. Cody is one of those instructors, and has already taught a few cycling classes.
In addition to the cycling classes – he will also be crossing modalities this week and co-leading a walk + run class on the Tread, alongside Jon Hosking.
The Jon Hosking + Cody Rigsby Peloton Tread class will be on Tuesday, July 29th @ 7:30am ET. You will find it on the Peloton schedule as a “30 min Two for One Walk + Run”, taught by both Cody Rigsby & Jon Hosking.

The official class description doesn’t tease anything besides a regular walk + run, saying: “Split your sweat 50/50 between walking and running in this Tread workout.”
The duo have been promoting the class on social media, including with a video teasing the class.
Note that Cody is not expected to add Tread classes to his regular routine. Cody Rigsby teaching a Tread class is expected to be a one-off special appearance.
This aligns with how they have been promoting it on social media, saying that Cody will be “popping in as a special guest.” Cody also talked about the class in the pre-show of a recent cycling class, explicitly stating that this is just a guest appearance for him – not a full addition.

This is something Peloton has been experimenting with from time to time. Earlier this year, we saw Jenn Sherman teach a two for one Tread class with Kirsten Ferguson – a similar one-off guest appearance as we’re seeing Cody do now.
Peloton has tried these experiments in years past as well. In 2022, Peloton created a special “Our Future Selves” series with Ashton Kutcher – which included Ashton, a Peloton instructor, and special guests on the Peloton Tread. This series saw cycling instructors Denis Morton and Emma Lovewell teach tread classes (years before Emma started teaching any hiking classes on the Tread).
If you miss it live, the Jon + Cody Tread class will be added to the on-demand library later on Tuesday, and be available to take at any point.
