Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby will be a special guest at the 2026 NHL Unites Pride Cup this weekend.
The third annual event is taking place February 28 – March 1, 2026 at the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex in Surrey, British Columbia, and features LGBTQ+ hockey teams from Vancouver and Seattle competing in a three-game series.
Cody is listed as the special guest for Day 2 of the event on Sunday, March 1. According to the event’s social media graphics shared by NHL Unites, the Sunday schedule includes a Coaches Training session with the You Can Play Project from 1:30–3:00 p.m. PT (registration required), Game 3 at 3:30 p.m. PT, and a Community Reception from 5:30–7:30 p.m. PT at Skye Avenue Kitchen & Lounge.
The posts did not clarify how exactly Cody would be participating, or what events he would be at, other than saying he was the special guest for the day.

Cody has recently been building a connection with the NHL. He was recently featured on the NHL’s social media accounts in a “Mic’d Up” moment, capturing his reactions while watching a game. Now he’ll be making an in-person appearance at one of the league’s events.
The NHL Unites Pride Cup is organized by the NHL in partnership with Pride Tape, and this year’s edition features Vancouver’s The Cutting Edges and the Seattle Pride Hockey Association competing for the Pride Cup trophy. More than 40 players are participating across the three-game series, and each organization will receive a $25,000 donation in support of their community impact.
Day 1 on Saturday, February 28 includes Game 1 at 11:45 a.m. PT and Game 2 at 4:30 p.m. PT, along with an NHL Unites Pride Cup Fan Fest from 11:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. PT. The Fan Fest features activities including a “Stitch & Skate” session with Stanley Cup champion Andrew Ference, a sign-making station, a temporary flash tattoo pop-up, an NHL Pride Photo Booth, and more.
The event is free and open to the public, though capacity is limited. It takes place at the North Surrey Sport & Ice Complex (10950 126a St, Surrey, BC V3V 0E5).
Previous editions of the event were held during the 2024 NHL All-Star Weekend in Toronto and at the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off in Boston.
This is the latest in a growing list of appearances for Cody outside of his Peloton classes. He was recently cast in an upcoming comedic slasher film called “Bach Sh*t Crazy”.
