Callie Gullickson recently provided an update on her living situation as it relates to her Peloton schedule.
In a video posted to Instagram, Callie explained that she is going to live in Florida while continuing to work for Peloton, which means she will be commuting for weeks at a time.
For those unfamiliar, Callie and her husband own a house in Florida – that they bought before she secured her job at Peloton – and this is where they spent Callie’s maternity leave. Members speculated throughout Callie’s absence about her return to Peloton, but she repeatedly affirmed that she would come back to teaching classes. She officially returned from maternity leave in September.
Now that she is settled back into teaching Peloton classes, Callie has provided members with an update on her schedule moving forward – an update that she says many members had already correctly guessed. She and her family will live in Florida, and Callie will fly back and forth for her work at Peloton.

Callie explains that a number of things happened at once: she was about to have her first baby, her lease in New York City was up, and her Peloton contract was up. We shared over the summer how contract negotiations were the reason for 3 instructors departure this year.
After a lot of “reflecting,” Callie ultimately decided that the best thing for her family was to continue to reside in Florida on a more permanent basis; she grew up there, and both sets of grandparents live there.
Callie brought this decision to Peloton, and they were tremendously supportive.
In terms of what this will look like moving forward, Callie clarifies that essentially she will be in New York City filming live and on-demand classes for Peloton approximately one week – sometimes more – per month. She said the first few months would be one week a month in NYC, and then a month with two weeks – and didn’t share beyond that yet.
She reaffirms that members will “still be seeing” her each month, and while she is in NYC she will record new content to drop on-demand while she is not teaching live.
Callie went on to say that this is their plan for the next few years, however, it would be revisited again in the future.
She finished by emphasized gratitude for the support of both Peloton and the Peloton community.
