This past April Peloton released their newest guided scenic classes with instructors Ally Love and Camila Ramón in Miami. Now, a newly shared behind-the-scenes video offers a closer look at the impressive production effort that went into bringing those classes to life.
CSP Media Group shared the video via Vimeo. The video reveals just how many moving parts – and people – are required for a shoot of this scale.
Multiple production staff can be seen coordinating alongside the instructors to capture the perfect shots. For Camila’s ride segments, a film crew rides alongside her on bikes, including one outfitted with a mounted camera.
Drones buzz overhead to provide sweeping aerial footage, and at one point, Camila rides over a bridge with traffic still flowing in the other lanes. She and the crew are accompanied by a police cruiser, likely there to ensure safety and visibility for the team.
Ally’s Walk + Run class segments also feature creative filming methods. In one sequence, a cameraman rolls alongside her on what appears to be a Segway-like device to get smooth, close-up shots while keeping pace.
The behind-the-scenes look also captures Ally and Camila walking together along the beach for their Walk class while a camera crew rides ahead on a beach cruiser-style vehicle.
The video showcases the high level of planning, coordination, and creativity required to produce immersive scenic content.
