For the second time in less than a month, Peloton has cancelled all live classes from Peloton Studios New York due to a major winter storm.
All PSNY classes scheduled for Monday, February 23rd have been cancelled, with encore classes added to the schedule as replacements.
Live classes from Peloton Studios London will still air as scheduled on Monday.
In a post on social media confirming the closure, Peloton said:
Due to the winter storm, Peloton Studios New York will be closed on Mon, Feb 23 with no Live Classes.
Live Classes will still be recorded from Peloton Studio London and there will be new on demand drops.
Peloton Studios New York is still operational today, Feb 22 with Live classes this afternoon
including a special Two for One at 2:30 PM ET!
New York City is currently under a Blizzard Warning, with 13 to 18 inches of snow forecast and the potential for over 20 inches in some areas. The National Weather Service warning is in effect through 6pm Monday, with wind gusts up to 55 mph expected and snowfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour during the heaviest periods overnight Sunday into Monday morning. Governor Hochul has declared a State of Emergency, and NYC officials have warned that the Monday morning commute will be “extremely hazardous.”

Peloton is far from the only organization taking precautions. The Broadway League announced on Sunday that all evening performances with curtain times at 6pm or later would be cancelled for Sunday night due to anticipated travel impacts and evening travel bans in surrounding areas. Sunday matinee performances still went ahead as planned.
This is the second time in 2026 that Peloton has had to close the New York studio due to a winter storm. The last closure was in late January, when a major snow storm also led to all PSNY classes being cancelled. Central Park officially recorded 11.4 inches from that storm, with some neighborhoods seeing over a foot, and it was followed by a bitter cold snap. Snow piles from that January storm were still visible on city streets and sidewalks heading into this weekend.
The live class schedule on the Peloton platform has been updated to reflect the closures, with encore classes filling the gaps left by the cancelled live sessions.
Should Peloton extend the studio closure beyond Monday due to the storm, we will share an update.
