Ash Pryor has shared on social media that she will be stepping away from the live class schedule for a few weeks for surgery to repair a small MCL tear in her knee, followed by PT.
Ash addressed members who had noticed some of her upcoming classes being canceled, writing: “I will be out for a few weeks to repair a small MCL tear. I will work the AshWhoopin Way to come back stronger than ever.”
Her last live class before the break will be this Sunday, March 22nd – a 45 min Endurance Row at 2:30pm ET, which she described as her favorite format, calling it “Love Letters.” She invited members to share mantras, phrases, or favorite words in the comments that have kept them uplifted, noting they might hear them during the class.

While Ash didn’t specify an exact return date, she described the absence as lasting “a few weeks.” She said she would be doing PT following the surgery. She said the MCL tear was on her left knee.
There may be some pre-recorded classes from Ash that are released during her time away.
Ash is also expected to begin teaching Pilates soon as well.
Over the last year or two, Peloton has built extended time off into all the Peloton instructors schedule – whether it’s for injury prevention, injury recovery, or third party projects through extended “off season” times off that started back in 2024.
We wish Ash a smooth recovery and look forward to seeing her back on the schedule soon.
