Peloton Studios New York’s October Run Club is a World Mental Health Day event with Selena Samuela on Wednesday, October 14, held in partnership with NAMI.
The event is free and open to both members and non-members, though registration is required, spots are limited to one per person, and participants must be at least 18 years old.
Peloton describes this event as:
“Join us and Peloton Instructor Selena Samuela as we celebrate World Mental Health Day with a 5K Walk & Run along the West Side Highway! Together with our partners from NAMI, we will move with intention, connect with community, and make space to show up for ourselves.”
The route is a 5K along the West Side Highway, starting and finishing at Peloton Studios New York. Four pace groups will be available:
- Group 1: Sub 10 min mile
- Group 2: 10 – 12 min mile
- Group 3: Walk + Run
- Group 4: Walking

Doors open at 5:00pm ET, with the warm-up beginning at 5:30pm before the group departs immediately afterward. Bag drop and lockers will be available during the run, and showers will be open after the event.
Run Club attendees will also receive a 20% discount at the Peloton Studios New York retail store on the Plaza Level, with some exclusions.
This is the second Peloton Run Club this year built around World Mental Health Day. Jon Hosking will lead the London event on October 7, while World Mental Health Day itself takes place on Saturday, October 10.
Becs Gentry will also lead a free three-mile run in New York on October 10 as part of Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Festival. That event is organized by Project Healthy Minds rather than Peloton.
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is also one of Peloton’s five social impact partners for 2026. Peloton and lululemon previously supported NAMIWalks events as part of Peloton’s Mental Health Awareness Month programming in May.
Peloton has a collection of mental health-focused classes from the past several years.
This will be Selena’s second time leading the PSNY Run Club this year, after hosting the July 5K walk and run. The October event follows September’s Latin Hispanic Heritage Month Run Club with Camila Ramón and Mariana Fernández.
