Selena Samuela is officially returning to teaching live classes following her maternity leave.
Her first live class back at Peloton will be on Thursday, May 7, 2026 at 1:30pm ET. This will be a 30 minute Upper Body Strength class with members live in the studio.
Selena teased her return on social media earlier this week, posting on Instagram:
“But FOR REAL it’s Next week! First live class 5/7 1:30pm est 30 min upper body strength @onepeloton! See you on the LB.”
The video shows Selena practicing her Peloton intro on her newborn twins, her husband, friends, and even herself in the mirror.

The 5/7 strength class is the first of several live classes Selena has on the schedule:
- Thursday, May 7 @ 1:30pm ET: 30 min Upper Body Strength
- Saturday, May 9 @ 10:30am ET: 45 min Outdoor Run Club
- Sunday, May 10 @ 10:00am ET: 30 min Full Body Strength
- Sunday, May 10 @ 2:00pm ET: 30 min Mother’s Day Walk + Run
Selena’s return includes running classes again. As we covered last fall, Selena stepped away from teaching running classes partway through her pregnancy after being diagnosed with placenta previa, with her doctors strongly suggesting she stop running for the safety of herself and her babies. At the time, Selena indicated she planned to return to running after the pregnancy.
Selena and her husband Matt welcomed twin daughters Stella and Frankie (Francesca) in mid-December, joining big brother Torin. Selena had originally shared her pregnancy in July 2025, with the twins announcement coming a few weeks later in August.
