Peloton has shared the first set of results from its Respin Health collaboration, offering early insight into how structured fitness, community, and coaching may help improve menopause symptoms for women.
As a refresher, Peloton announced its partnership with Respin Health – the women’s health platform founded by Halle Berry – back in October 2025. The collaboration focused on perimenopause and menopause support through two major components: a dedicated collection of on-demand Peloton classes and a large-scale research study examining the impact of exercise on menopause-related symptoms.
Now, Peloton and Respin have released initial findings from that research via a new press release, highlighting results from the P.R.E.S.S. Study (Peloton/ReSpin Exercise & Symptoms Study).

The 60-day study followed 267 Peloton Members between the ages of 40 and 65 who participated in a multi-component program designed to fit into real-life routines. Participants were given free access to a curated set of Peloton cardio and strength workouts and were encouraged to aim for:
- 2-3 high-intensity sessions per week
- 2-3 strength training sessions per week
- A daily recovery practice
- Optional moderate-intensity workouts depending on energy and capacity
In addition to Peloton fitness programming, participants also engaged with Respin’s online community, educational resources, and live group coaching sessions led by menopause-focused health experts. Importantly, participants were able to access the content on their own schedules and were instructed to use the program as they normally would in their everyday lives.
According to Peloton and Respin, 84% of women in the dedicated cohort reported an overall improvement in menopause symptoms after completing the 60-day program.
All 35 symptoms measured – based on the MENQOL score along with six additional symptoms – showed statistically significant improvement, meaning the changes were unlikely to be due to chance.
Among the most commonly reported symptoms:
- Feeling tired or worn out: Experienced by 85% of participants, with an average improvement of 26%
- Brain fog: Experienced by 80%, with an average improvement of 34%
- Lack of energy: Experienced by 78%, improving by an average of 33%
- Weight gain: Experienced by 77%, with an average improvement of 41%
- Poor memory: Experienced by 77%, improving by an average of 39%
Beyond symptom reporting, participants also reduced their daily sitting time by an average of 30 minutes and reported improvements in sleep quality – both of which reached statistical significance.
Dr. Elizabeth Knight, the study’s principal investigator and a women’s health researcher specializing in integrative health, noted that the results demonstrate the potential impact of combining movement, coaching, and community support over a relatively short period of time.
Peloton Chief Content Officer Jen Cotter echoed that sentiment, saying:
“The improvements reported by this group reinforce what we have always known: movement is medicine and a catalyst for transformation. By prioritizing menopause support, we are providing our Members with even more ways to live fit, strong, long, and happy.”
Guided by these early findings, Peloton and Respin say they plan to continue expanding menopause-focused programming, including additional Peloton fitness content and community-driven conversations aimed at increasing awareness and support around this life stage.
Peloton and Respin also shared the news via a joint Instagram post featuring graphics that highlight the topline outcomes from the study.
The release of the initial results comes just as Peloton and Respin hosted an in-person event at Peloton Studios New York on Saturday, January 17. The event included classes and a panel discussion led by Susie Chan and Christine D’Ercole and P.R.E.S.S. study participants were given priority registration.
The full P.R.E.S.S. study results are available on Respin’s website, and you can find additional details via the press release.
