Peloton Chief Product Officer Nick Caldwell recently shared updates about Peloton’s Strength+ app rollout – confirming that Android and international users may gain access as early as next year.
In a discussion on a recent Reddit “Ask Me Anything” (AMA), Caldwell addressed member questions about why Strength+ is not yet available outside the U.S. or on Android devices.
He explained that expanding the app globally requires additional development time to handle metric unit support and localization, both of which are necessary before launching in new markets. While other Peloton Strength+ app will come to other countries, it sounds like it will launch in Canada first, and then Peloton’s other countries (like the United Kingdom, Australia, Austria, and Germany) at a later date.
In response to a member question as to why the Strength+ app is not yet available in Canada, Caldwell wrote:
“Simple answer is time to implement metric units and localization. I think we’ll get Canada relatively soon, but other countries will take longer.”
When a member asked about availability in the United Kingdom, Caldwell responded:
“For Strength+, we’re working on updates for international / Android, so I hope we are able to share more next year.”
So for those members who don’t have an iPhone or who don’t live in the US – it sounds like the earliest Peloton Strength+ will expand to Android & other countries is next year – although plans and releases are always subject to change.

The Peloton Strength+ app first launched in 2024 after a three month beta phase. The Strength+ is entirely separate from the existing Peloton digital app and is free for Peloton All-Access and App+ members – or there is a separate subscription cost just for Strength+ for anyone who wants to do that. You can find a comprehensive overview of the Peloton Strength+ app here.

At the time, the Peloton Strength+ app was the first Peloton-branded app experience that was available outside of the main Peloton app. As of this month, there is also now the BreathWrk app – which Peloton acquired and made free for most Peloton members this month.
While Strength+ remains limited to iOS users in the U.S. for now, these new comments indicate that Peloton is actively preparing for a wider release in 2026, including Android and international members – with Canada expected to be the first expansion market.

Such a long today and the reasons given don’t seem to me to create such a time frame? Other markets are being short changed !
Originally released in 2024 after a 3 month beta. Almost 2026 and no android app? Where was the 3 month beta for this and release? It’s been 2 years. All access means ALL Access, not just “what’s available”. If you are going to release a product, ensure it releases to all that pay for it.
this is really frustrating when they’re going to raise pricing but android users still don’t have all the features we’re paying for. time to light up that feeback form to share my thoughts
