Tunde Oyeneyin wins Sports Illustrated contest & will be in the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue

Tunde Oyeneyin has won the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swim Search contest.

This means that she will appear in the 2026 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue when it is released next year.

Sports Illustrated officially made the announcement today, saying:

Oyeneyin impressed not only SI Swimsuit fans, but our editorial team as well, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce the New York Times best-selling author as our first rookie in the 2026 SI Swimsuit Issue.

Tunde was surprised by her fellow instructors as well as Achieng Agutu at the end of her class today – the 30 min rolling hills ride from 8/10/25 @ 12:00pm ET. Achieng was joined by Kirsten Ferguson, Ash Pyror, Rad Lopez, and Hannah Corbin.

As Tunde was doing the cooldown of her class, the other instructors came on the overhead speaker system and said they had to cut the class. They all then came to the front of the class, where they told Tunde the news she had won the contest.

Tunde had been one of 6 finalists in the contest – and took place in a runway show earlier this year.

The contest opened up voting to the public, and Peloton members have been voting over the past several weeks for Tunde. The contest stated that public voting would play a “key role” in the outcome of the contest, along with the SI editorial team.

Congratulations to Tunde Oyeneyin on winning the Sports Illustrated (SI) contest!
