Amazon has made the original Peloton Bike even more deeply discounted.
This week is Amazon Prime Day – and there are deals on almost all the Peloton products that Amazon offers. These deals run through Friday, July 11th.
When the deals first launched, it saw the original Peloton bike discounted down to $1,145 (affiliate link) – which is a fairly typical sale price for the Peloton bike these days.
However, Amazon then went and lowered the price of the original Peloton Bike even more. They dropped the price down to $1,083 – a discount of 25% off a new bike.
This updated deal is a deeper discount than we normally see – bringing the new original Peloton Bike to the lowest price since the 2023 Peloton Black Friday sales.
While this is one of the better deals on a new original Peloton Bike – there have been ways to get it for even less since then. For example, Peloton has previously run short sales on their refurbished bikes – bringing the total price to under $1,000 – although those weren’t brand new bikes.
If you don’t necessarily want a new bike – used marketplaces consistently have Peloton bikes deeply discounted if you have the time and patience to look. And Peloton is in the process of rolling out their own used marketplace called Peloton Repowered.
In addition, we have also seen Peloton discount their new bikes down to ~$1,145 – but also throw in a free month of membership (a ~$45-$50 value for customers in the US) – bringing the total discount closer to what Amazon is offering this week.
With all that said – if you have been in the market for a new original Peloton Bike – picking it up on Amazon for Prime Day might be worth considering.
