Adrian Williams' first Thunder 45 Row Bootcamp class.

Adrian Williams Brings Thunder 45 to the Row (Thunder 45 Row Bootcamp on Peloton)

Adrian Williams is bringing his signature Thunder 45 series to a new modality: the Row.

Thunder 45 is officially available to Peloton rowers as of today, with the first class released to the on-demand library on July 2 at midnight ET.

The official class description for Adrian Williams’ Thunder 45 Row bootcamp class reads:

Get ready to bring the thunder in this 45-minute, high-intensity bootcamp series with Adrian. Are you up for it, Peloton?

Peloton shared the news via Instagram, writing:

Thunder 45 is now on the Row (and you better love it) 🙂Adrian’s officially bringing his signature high-intensity bootcamp to the Row, check out the first class on demand now!

The post included Adrian and fellow Row instructor Becs Gentry in a playful video encouraging members to give the class a try.

Originally launched on the Tread in 2021, Thunder 45 is known for its relentless pace, total-body focus, and high difficulty rating.

In the first Thunder 45 Row Bootcamp, Adrian shared a bit of context behind the series. The new Row version stays true to the series’ roots, delivering a “wild” conditioning class that combines rowing intervals with strength segments. Adrian lets members know that the intensity is much higher than a typical row or strength class – and so are the expectations. However, he also emphasized that it is okay to modify as needed.

Adrian described the experience as a chance for members to push their bodies to the limit. This class is meant to expose whatever weaknesses members may have; not to discourage, but to provide an opportunity to strengthen them. The elevated heart rate, the long intervals, and the mix of modalities are all intentional. Thunder 45 is rooted in athletic training and built to challenge in every way: endurance, HIIT, intervals, strength, and movement across different planes. According to Adrian, this is a test of full athletic capacity.

Adrian also shared a bit of personal motivation, telling members that he has been teaching Thunder 45 on the Tread for a while and has been “dying” to bring it to the Row.

Peloton has not yet shared how frequently new Thunder 45 Row classes will drop, but it is worth noting that the Tread version typically occurs once per week. You can take the first class now via your Row device, app, or web browser.

Are you excited to see Adrian’s signature Thunder 45 series expand to the Row?

It is also made for Guide! Hoping they are working to make it possible to switch between Guide and equipment. Or maybe even connect non pelo row like the C2 from the guide.
