Peloton's new Long Runs class collection

New Peloton “Long Run” Classes & Collection

Peloton has begun to label some (but not all) of their longer duration running classes as “Long Run”, and created a new collection specifically for those classes.

The new “Long Run” collection consists of some of Peloton’s running classes ranging in time between 60 & 120 minutes (which is the longest non-scenic run currently available on the platform). It contains a mix of both regular Tread/Tread+ classes, as well as some outdoor audio classes.

The Long Run collection description is:

“Power your next long run with this collection of classes ranging from 60 to 120 minutes. Our instructors will guide you both on the Tread and in the great outdoors as you conquer the miles ahead.”

So far, you can find the following classes in the “Long Run” collection:

However, not all recent Run classes of 60 or more minutes’ duration are being labeled as a “Long Run.” For example, here are a few recent classes that were not labeled as “Long Runs”, and are also not found in the collection:

  • 60 minute Endurance Run – Marcel Dinkins – 5/11/25 @ 2:30 PM ET
  • 60 minute 80s Run – Alex Karwoski – 5/3/25 @ 9:30 AM ET
  • 60 minute Pop Run [German] – Jeffrey McEachern – 4/27/25 @ 7:30 AM BST

The “Long Run” class is likely in response to member demand for longer duration classes, which can be useful when training for long-distance races like half and full marathons. Members often comment on Peloton social media posts their desire for more long form content so they don’t have to take the same few longer-duration classes over and over. Peloton highlighted one of the new long runs in a recent “This Week at Peloton” post.

Within the past year, Peloton held its first live 120 minute runs from both New York and London. Becs Gentry taught one on 10/4/24, and Susie Chan taught one on 3/23/25. In recent months, Peloton seems to put out one 60 minute Tread class about every week.

Are you excited to see more longer-duration Run classes on the Peloton platform?
