Peloton has announced a variety of closures taking place this summer, at both Peloton Studios New York & London.
While Peloton typically has a variety of closures throughout the year, including a “Summer Closure” that takes place near Labor Day – these closures will be more extensive, taking place at a variety of times over July & August 2025.
However, unlike most other times, Peloton is sharing why the studio will be closing. The company plans to install 4K cameras in all the studios at the New York studios, to facilitate upgraded production and to “allow for new content types.”. Between the 4 main production studios, this will involve replacing around 30 different cameras – as well as letting them be repositioned or replaced easier.
In addition, they say they will be renovating some of the plaza-level areas to “enhance the in-person studio experience”. This includes some upgrades & tweaks of the showroom located inside the PSNY studio.
As those upgrades are taking place, PSNY will be closing various studios, and not producing live classes, over a range of time periods. Those include:
- July 2-4: PSNY is closed, no live classes from PSNY**
- July 10-13: PSNY is closed; No live classes from PSNY
- July 14-August 2: No live cycling classes from PSNY
- July 18-Aug 4: No live Tread classes from PSNY
- August 5-23: No live Strength or Row classes from PSNY
- August 8-25: No live Yoga, Meditation, Barre, or Pilates classes from PSNY
- August 28 – September 1: PSNY is closed to members***
In addition to these PSNY closures, Peloton Studios London also originally said they would also be completely closed from August 11-17. However, Peloton added classes with members on the schedule from August 16-17 for London, so this closure might have shifted. Peloton Studios London also said they would be closed from August 29-31.
**The closure at PSNY from July 2 – 4 is due to 4th of July holiday, not the studio upgrades – those don’t begin until July 10.
*** The closures at PSNY from August 28-September 1, and PSL from August 29 – 31 are due to Labor Day holiday, not the studio upgrades.

Peloton has also hinted that they will be expanding the regular London schedule & time slots temporarily this summer to try to make up for some of the NYC closures, but have not explicitly clarified what that is yet.
While there will be a variety of periods with no classes of certain types – Peloton has said some of the US-based instructors will be teaching some classes from London. So far they have teased “Cody, Emma, Robin, Olivia, Becs, and Nico” will teach some from London – as well as some two for ones, like a Becs & Susie Live Outdoor.
Peloton has also shared some other initiatives they are working on this summer content-wise, including:
