Peloton is having an outage. Update – Peloton stated the issue should be fixed around 10:50pm ET.
On the evening of April 8, 2025 (US East Coast time), around 10:00pm ET, Peloton’s servers started having an outage.
This impacted people trying to load the Peloton website, use the Peloton app, or take classes on Peloton devices.

Many people experienced screens of “An error has occurred” while using the app. Others were simply unable to login, or told that their passwords were incorrect.
Some people who tried to access the Peloton website via a web browser encountered error messages from Cloudflare, stating that they had been blocked from the site.

Errors on actual Peloton devices (Bike, Tread, Row, etc), ranged from the leaderboard not working correctly, to being unable to start classes, to not being able to interact with any screen at all.
At time of publishing Peloton had yet to create an official status update / bug report for this issue, but there are widespread report of this impacting Peloton members around the world.
Update – Around 10:35pm ET Peloton created an outage for this, saying they were investigating the issue. They report the issue as “Elevated errors with Peloton App – Member Facing.”
They also note that “Members may encounter high latency or login errors.”
Peloton then posted at 10:48PM ET that they had rolled out a fix, and then one minute later, stated that the issue should be fixed, and all systems should be returning to normal – but that they would continue to monitor things.
