Leak at Peloton Studios New York causes class cancellations

This afternoon, Peloton Studios New York encountered a leak, leading to some classes being cancelled.

The leak started a little after 12:00pm ET.

Jess Sims taught a 20 minute strength class that ran from 12:00pm – 12:20pm. She was then scheduled to teach a Flash 15 strength class immediately afterwards starting at 12:40pm ET.

However, that second class was quietly removed from the class schedule just before starting. Jess Sims took to Instagram to explain the cancellation, sharing that the there was a small leak in the strength studio – leading to the class being removed.

Emma Lovewell also had a class cancellation today. She was supposed to teach a ride at 2:00pm ET, but that class was cancelled. It is not yet known if that cancellation was related to the leak, or for other reasons.

This is not the first time that leaks at Peloton Studios New York has led to class cancellations. Last July, there was a water leak at PSNY that led to some cancellations in the Yoga studio.

At time of publishing, Peloton has not yet confirmed whether the leak is fully fixed, or if more classes later in the day will have to be cancelled.
