Peloton’s “Strength for Soccer” Program with Marcel Maurer (in German)

Peloton has a brand new German language strength training program.

Called “Strength for Soccer”, this is a new one-week strength training program led by Marcel Maurer. Peloton has also released an English language version of the program by Erik Jager

This program is designed to “improve performance on the soccer pitch, become stronger, faster, and more mobile, and also show you how to minimize your susceptibility to injuries.”

Marcel Maurer was a soccer play before coming to Peloton, so has some first-hand experience in what he will be teaching through these classes.

Unlike some other German programs – this is not a dubbed-language program like some recent releases from Peloton. It is designed and led by Marcel in German.

Although this is a program, many of the classes (and the English ones as well) are available to take in the on-demand library if you don’t want to stack them from the program, or deal with the program at all.

Here is the official description for “Strength for Soccer (DE)” from Peloton: “Welcome to Strength for Soccer – your one week program to improve performance on the soccer pitch, become stronger, faster, and more mobile, and also show you how to minimize your susceptibility to injuries.”

It wouldn’t be a Peloton program without badges (you can always find a full list here). You can earn a Bronze badge for completing 5 classes, Silver badge for completing 6 classes, Gold badge for completing 7 classes out of the total 7 classes.

How to join the Peloton Strength for Soccer (DE) program with Marcel Maurer in German

At time of publishing programs can be joined from the Peloton Bikes, Tread, Peloton Digital app, or the Peloton website. Simply browse to the programs area, find the Strength for Soccer (DE) program, and join the program. You can find the program on the web here.
