Becs shared the news via Instagram today, saying that:
I am both wildly excited and uncontrollably nervous for the training and the race than I’ve been about anything (yes including child birth!) But here we are. I love to push the limits and this is going to really challenge me in every conceivable way I can imagine, so LFG!!

The post includes a video of Becs explaining her excitement and nervousness surrounding the race, which she will be training for – including in the classes she will teach for Peloton – throughout the next four months. She mentions that she will be bringing Peloton members along on her training with her over the next several months.
The post also includes a montage video of Becs telling her fellow instructors about the journey she is embarking on, and their reactions. Becs was met with lots of shock, awe, and “how?!”

The Great World Race includes seven marathons on seven continents in seven days (back to back). The event begins on November 15th in Antartica, before finishing on November 21st in Miami, Florida.
