Peloton instructors Erik Jäger and Jeffrey McEachern will lead a free charity run in honor of Pride in Berlin later this month. There will also be a virtual option for those who can’t make it to the Berlin event.
The pair shared the news via Instagram, roughly translating to:
🎉🏳️🌈🌟 Charity Pride Run in Berlin! 🌟🏳️🌈🎉
Be there and run with us for a good cause!…
…Invite your friends to take part in this event in the comments. Together we can achieve great things. 🌈❤️

The event will take place on July 27, 2024 at 10:00am, and will be approximately 90 minutes in length. The starting point is at the Social Hub Berlin. This is the same location Erik hosted his Sports Social Day fundraiser earlier this month.
The outdoor run will be between 5-10 kilometers long (they are taking suggestions on social media for how long people want it to be). The event is suitable for runners of all levels. Attendees are welcome to mingle both before and after the event.
If you can’t attend in-person but are interested in joining, Erik and Jeffrey encourage online participation by asking people to post their run on Instagram and tag them.
For every individual who attends both in-person and online, Erik and Jeffrey will donate €2 to the non-profit organization Berliner Aids-Hilfe, which aims to support those battling HIV and AIDS and fights against the stigmatization of HIV-positive people.
There is no registration or RSVP link; those interested can simply meet the group on the day of the event, or participate online. Those who take part online are asked to tag them on social media so they can know to make a donation on your behalf.
You can see Erik and Jeffrey’s full announcement post via Instagram.
Though this particular event is not an official Peloton-sponsored event, there have been a number of opportunities to run outdoors with Peloton so far this year, including numerous opportunities in New York City and London this past March.
