Peloton has been having an issue with how completed workouts are being saved to members’ workout history.
This is causing Peloton classes to show as having been completed in the future for many members. The issue is related to the time zone the workout is being saved as – which is causing is to be a few hours off from the actual time zone the user is in.
Specifically – if you did your workout at 10:52am ET, when you view your workout in your history, it might currently say you did the workout at 3:52pm.
There have been reports of this across social media channels throughout the day today. Peloton acknowledged the issue with an official status message around 5:30pm ET.
The bug report, titled “Workouts being logged with the incorrect time zone”, simply says that “The team is aware of the issue and will be rolling out a fix by end of day.”
This bug is also causing issues with some member’s blue dot streaks. Some people have reported, that although they have taken a class every day, and typically see a calendar full of blue dots – that is not the case currently.
Now, there might be a blank blue dot in the past month, indicating that the member missed a workout – when they in fact did not.

This is again related to time zones – if you did a workout at 11pm, now that the Peloton system is thinking workouts are in a different timezone, this can cause that workout to be reflected on the next day – resulting in a missing blue dot.
It is expected that once this bug is resolved (hopefully by the end of the day as Peloton says), the blue dot calendar will go back to normal – and the blue dots in your workout history that are temporarily missing will be restored.

My issue was with partial peloton metrics and duration being reported after finishing a class on my peloton bike. Says I only rode for a few seconds but I rode the class until the end screen. Peloton support said they “healed” my workout.. not sure what that means and to wait 24 hours. Seems jank and I am uncertain I will be able to get my full workout metrics.
This has happened twice during the week of June 21-28, 2025 while I’m in Mexico. I’ve emailed them about this issue and they were not able to fix my blue dot streak. It’s a pain knowing I completed a workout on a day and don’t get credit for that day. I’ve traveled plenty of times to other time zones and I’ve never had this issue, so hopefully they can fix it very soon!!
