Peloton bug report about loss of workout data.

Peloton Working on Fix for Bug Causing Loss of Workout Data in Member History

Peloton has acknowledged a bug that is causing some members to lose workout data from their workout history, and says a fix is on the way.

The issue was posted to Peloton’s status page on January 5, 2026. In the incident report titled “Some members are seeing a loss of workout data in their workout history,” Peloton stated:

“The issue has been identified and a fix to prevent additional workout data loss is rolling out beginning January 12th. Please note that the fix will not restore previously lost workout data.”

Unfortunately for members who have already been affected, Peloton has said that the fix will only prevent future data loss – it will not recover workouts that have already disappeared from their history.

It is not clear at this time how many members have been impacted by this bug, or what caused the data loss. Peloton has not shared details on which workouts or time periods may have been affected.

The fix is scheduled to begin rolling out on January 12th. There will likely be no visible changes from this bug fix – it will just patch the workouts being recorded to people’s history correctly.

No data loss but I hit 2 PRs this morning (I reset them every January 1st) and neither one gave me a badge. There is a acknowledgment of the PR when I view my workout history on the bike but not in the app

Have a row Bootcamp missing from 12/16 – broke a nice streak too! Annoying they can’t recover the data…
