Peloton Gathering Submissions for Community-Powered “Film”

Peloton is putting its Members in the spotlight.

This week, Peloton announced via their social media channels that they are creating a new community-powered “film”, and they want videos directly from Members to bring it to life.

A new webpage is available with more information. The official call to action reads:

Share a video of you and your Peloton equipment. We’re inviting YOU—our amazing Members—to be featured in a special, community-powered film. Show us how the Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread, Tread+, or Row fits into your life, lifts your spirits, and keeps you moving. We can’t wait to celebrate this journey together—every stride, ride, and rep of the way.

Members are invited to submit personal videos that highlight how Peloton hardware fits into their lives. Peloton encourages authentic, heartfelt clips that showcase the joy, motivation, and emotions Members feel before, during, or after their workouts.

Peloton is especially interested in workout footage (taken safely) on Peloton equipment; post-workout adrenaline highs; and fun reactions to delivery day. Videos should show the hardware clearly in the frame, and a mix of horizontal and vertical formats is encouraged. Good lighting helps, and while Peloton apparel is a plus, it not required.

Note that Peloton stresses that selfie-style filming while using the Bike, Tread, or Row is not permitted. Instead, videos should be captured by someone else or by propping up a phone securely off the equipment. Any content deemed unsafe or improper will not be accepted.

While Peloton calls this a “film” – it’s not clear what form that will come in – whether it will be something added to the Peloton Originals section of entertainment, be used in clips for Peloton’s own social media, or just used as b-roll in marketing & advertising they are creating.

Members can upload their videos via Peloton’s official submission form. Submissions require a first and last name, email address, and Leaderboard name, along with consent for Peloton to use the content for marketing and promotional purposes worldwide.

As of publishing time Peloton has not communicated a deadline for submissions.

If you are interested in submitting content to potentially be featured in Peloton’s community film, visit the submission form for more information.
