Peloton Stroke Rate Row Collection

Peloton “Stroke Rate Row” Classes & Collection

Peloton has released a new collection dedicated to improving one’s rowing stroke rate. The collection is called “Stroke Rate Row” and it is now available in the on-demand library.

The official description for the Stroke Rate Row collection is:

Let it fly with Alex, Ash and Katie in these classes where you’ll focus on a specific stroke rate each class and learn how it impacts your workouts.

The collection includes six classes with three different instructions. Each class is 15 minutes in length and targets a specific stroke rate, as indicated by the title. The complete class list is below:

The classes are also available in the general on-demand library as well.

Stroke rate, often abbreviated as SPM (strokes per minute), is a key metric in rowing that measures how many strokes a rower completes in one minute. It is a fundamental aspect of rowing performance and technique. For those who are still working on increasing their power without necessarily increasing their stroke rate, these classes could help develop those skills. Peloton notes these classes are also “meant to improve your coordination, stamina, and aerobic endurance.”

It is currently unclear whether Peloton will add to this collection periodically moving forward, or if this was a one-time release.

You can check out Peloton’s new Stroke Rate Row Collection via the app, the Row, or the web browser. Will you be focusing on your rowing stroke rate with these new classes?
