Rob Thomas of the popular rock band Matchbox Twenty visited Peloton Headquarters last week to for a listening party with Peloton’s team – which included several Peloton instructors as well as Peloton’s head music producer DJ John Michael.

In addition to Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas has numerous solo artist albums as well including his latest album, All Night Days, which will be released later this year. Rob Thomas will also begin a new tour in the U.S. on August 1.

DJ John Michael shared about the listening party with Rob Thomas on Instagram. He shared that:

He’s exactly who you would want him to be and I also have a theory about the best artists you’ll ever meet always seem to have people around them who have been with them for a very long time.

Instructor Mariana Fernandez also shared about the event, saying:

“Another pinch me moment ✨ When @matchboxtwenty has been the life soundtrack to multiple chapters, dancing to “Smooth” time and time again, and @robthomas captures musically and vocally the hard knocks and waltzes of life between Little Wonders and Bright Lights✨ thank you for sharing your music, your endeavors, and your heart 💚 today was one for the books 💖💚”

Peloton has hosted several of these listening parties over the years with various artists. Other listening party sessions have included Jason Mraz, LL Cool J, Nelly Furtado and more. Sometimes these listening parties take place in advance of an artist series for the musician showing up on the Peloton platform – while other times, they do not.

Do you think we will see a new Rob Thomas artist series, or Matchbox 20 artist sereis, from Peloton in the future?
