Peloton is running a winback campaign aimed at lapsed members, emailing some people who cancelled their All-Access Membership an offer of two free months to reactivate.
The promotion targets former subscribers who own Peloton hardware but dropped the monthly membership. The emails leans on urgency, with a “24 hours left” banner and copy noting that the chance to rejoin “ends tonight.” It pitches returning members on “new classes, new programs, and new features.”
The email says:
Get 2 months free of All-Access Membership. Your chance to rejoin and get 2 months free of All-Access Membership ends tonight. Tap into new classes, new programs, and new features that keep you moving toward your goals.

It is not clear exactly who is being targeted or what the criteria are, whether it is tied to how long someone has been gone, their account history, or something else.
Still, the timing is worth noting. Peloton’s fiscal year ends June 30, so any reactivations before then would fall in its fiscal fourth quarter. The company reports its churn net of reactivations, which means members who rejoin before the quarter closes directly lower the churn figure it reports to investors.
With its subscriber base still shrinking, a late-quarter push to pull lapsed members back would be a logical way to shore up those numbers ahead of its next earnings report later this summer, particularly if churn ran higher than usual this quarter.
Whether that is the driver or simply routine retention marketing, Peloton’s fourth-quarter results will give a clearer read on where its subscriber base stands.
