Peloton instructor Erik Jäger is hosting a fundraising charity event with his nonprofit foundation on Sunday, July 7, 2024 in Berlin.
He shared about the event on Instagram.
Fellow instructors Jeffrey McEachern and Marcel Maurer are confirmed to be participating in the day’s panel events. According to Erik and Jon Hosking’s Instagram stories, it appears that Jon is also in Berlin along with Erik.
According to their website, the Erik Jäger Foundation began in 2018 by Ricarda Jäger, Carina Boateng, and Erik Jäger to benefit children across the world. The Foundation is managed in trust by the Hilfe mit Plan foundation based in Hamburg.
The 2nd Social Sports Day event will fundraise specifically for children from the SCORING GIRLS* Project by HÁWAR (@hawar.scoringgirls) and Futbalo Girls (@futbalogirls). The fundraiser will take place at The Social Hub in Berlin on July 7 from 11am to 5:30pm.
Erik will be hosting a panel talk during the event and will also lead a charity workout. Several other people will be leading events as well (including Jeffrey & Marcel). A rough translation of the timeline is as follows:
11:00 am: Workout on the Spree with Marcel Maurer
- Bodyweight workout for every training level
12:30 pm: The Colorful Talk
- From football to pride a diverse talk with Bine, Marcel, Felix, Jeffrey & Dina
1:30 pm: EJ Foundation Community Run with Jeffrey McEachern
- Loose 6K run through Berlin
2:30 pm: Foundation Work in Football – with Laureus
- Why does this successful sports support need a talk with Laureus and the Futbalo Girls
4:00 pm: Charity Workout – with Erik Jäger
- Bodyweight workout for every training level
5:30 pm: Live Raffle
- Raffle for a good cause
As mentioned in the timeline – there is also a raffle during the event, with each entry costing €5. You can enter the raffle here. The top raffle prize is a Peloton Bike. Other prizes include two Garmin Venu 3 watches, three €100 lululemon vouchers, and a two-night stay at The Social Hub Berlin.
