Peloton is continuing to expand its global footprint with a new engineering hub in Poland.
According to a recent job posting on Peloton’s careers page, the company is actively building out an engineering team in Warsaw, with a new office located at WeWork Warsaw.
Peloton describes the new location as a “playground for engineers” as they establish a fresh base for product and platform development in Europe. The company has spent the past several months preparing for the launch through hiring of leadership and HR roles in Warsaw, and is now beginning to scale hiring across multiple engineering roles.
To kick things off, Peloton is hosting an in-person event on April 8 at the new office location in Warsaw. The event – titled “Code & Happy Hour: Peloton Poland Office Launch” – is designed to introduce local developers to the company’s roadmap and culture.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear directly from company leadership, including the CTO and senior engineers, through a series of technical presentations and conversations.
The event will also offer insight into the technologies Peloton is using, giving developers a clearer picture of the company’s engineering environment. Guests can explore the new Warsaw office with guided tours, and those who make a strong impression may be invited to move ahead more quickly in the hiring process through an accelerated interview track.
Attendance requires an RSVP via Google Form to be added to the building’s security list.
The team being built in Poland will take on a key role in creating and supporting both products and underlying systems from within the region. This move follows with our recent article, in which we shared that Peloton has been increasing its reliance on global engineering resources, including expanded outsourcing efforts in regions like Poland and India.
