Peloton’s Chief Accounting Officer Saqib Baig is stepping down to pursue an external opportunity, according to a new SEC filing.
Peloton disclosed the news on October 13, 2026. Baig notified the company of his decision on October 8 and will continue in his role until November 27.
Peloton said they have started searching for his replacement. The notice does not name a successor or identify where Baig is headed.
Peloton said in the filing:
“Mr. Baig’s departure is not the result of any disagreements or issues relating to financial disclosures or accounting matters. The Company is grateful for Mr. Baig’s contributions throughout his employment.”

Baig will not receive severance payments or benefits under Peloton’s Severance and Change in Control Plan in connection with his departure.
Earlier this year, Baig served as Peloton’s interim Chief Financial Officer, effective March 27, when Liz Coddington left the company.
Peloton then announced Siddharth “Sid” Thacker as their new CFO on May 26. Thacker’s appointment took effect on June 22, with Baig remaining Chief Accounting Officer.
Baig joined Peloton as Chief Accounting Officer in November 2022 after working at Meta Platforms as Controller of Accounting Risk, Valuation, and Financial Reporting.
In the March filing announcing his interim CFO appointment, Peloton described his responsibilities as including financial reporting, controllership, finance operations and finance technology. That filing also noted he had served as CFO of Peloton’s Commercial Business Unit since August 2025.
