Marcel Dinkins and Greta Dopp will lead Peloton events during Toronto Waterfront Marathon weekend.

Peloton Named Official Fitness Partner of Toronto Waterfront Marathon; Marcel Dinkins & Greta Dopp Leading Pre-Race Events

Peloton is the new Official Fitness Partner of the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon, with the partnership beginning in 2026 and a shakeout run, mobility session, expo presence, and race-day activation planned for this year’s marathon weekend.

The partnership is expected to continue beyond this year. DEC Sports and Entertainment, which works with Canada Running Series on sponsorships for the Toronto Waterfront Marathon, announced Peloton as the Official Fitness Partner of the 2026-2028 races.

Peloton previously announced the partnership on Instagram, writing:

“Toronto, we’re coming for you. 🇨🇦🏃‍♀️. We’re proud to be the Official Fitness Partner of the 2026 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon. From pre-race to race day, Peloton is with you every step of the way. See you soon, Toronto. 💛”

One of the first pieces of that partnership is a free morning of programming on Saturday, October 17, the day before the marathon and half marathon.

Marcel Dinkins will lead a 4.5km shakeout run through Toronto, while Greta Dopp will lead a mobility session at the race expo. Greta and Marcel will then take part in a fireside chat and photo opportunity.

The schedule is:

  • 9:30am – Check-in begins outside the Better Living Centre
  • 10:00am to 10:45am – 4.5km Shakeout Run with Marcel Dinkins, powered by ShoreRunners Toronto
  • 11:00am to 11:45am – Mobility session at the Race Expo with Greta Dopp, followed by a fireside chat with Greta and Marcel and a photo opportunity

Peloton describes the shakeout run as inclusive, with all paces, speeds, and styles welcome.

Both events are complimentary and open to Peloton members and non-members. Registration is limited to one spot per person, and participants need a confirmed reservation and completed waiver.

The events will take place at the Better Living Centre at 195 Princes’ Boulevard, which is also hosting the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon Expo on Friday and Saturday. Peloton is listed as one of the exhibitors at the expo. Paid parking is available in the underground lot at Enercare Centre. There will not be shower facilities, and Peloton says only limited space will be available for belongings.

The shakeout run is powered by ShoreRunners Toronto. The group describes itself as one of Toronto’s largest and most active running communities, with weekly runs, training programs, social events, and other activities.

Peloton will also have a presence on race day. The marathon’s official event information lists Peloton among the sponsors with activations at Race Central at Nathan Phillips Square, alongside brands including ASICS, Nespresso, Shokz, and Subaru.

Peloton has been increasing their presence in Toronto this year. Camila Ramón led a free Peloton 5K in the city for Global Running Day in June alongside special guest Jess Campbell and local running community A RUNNING LIST.

Greta, who is Peloton’s first instructor from Canada, also joined Emma Lovewell for a special Canada Day Two for One Ride in July.

The 2026 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon and Half Marathon take place Sunday, October 18, while the race expo runs October 16-17.

Anyone interested in joining Marcel and Greta for the shakeout run and mobility session can register through Peloton’s event page. Spots are limited.
