Cardio Performance Estimates Feature now on Peloton Rows.

Peloton’s Cardio Performance Estimates Feature Now Available on Peloton Row

Peloton has expanded the Cardio Performance Estimates feature to the Peloton Rows, bringing the Peloton IQ tool to all cardio hardware devices on the platform.

Peloton shared the news in an email to members, stating:

“Now available on Row and Row+, Peloton IQ’s Performance Estimates use your history to help you choose the right workout to meet your goals.”

When the feature first launched alongside the Cross Training devices last fall, it was only available on the Bike, Bike+, Tread, and Tread+ (both original and Cross Training versions). The Row was notably excluded at the time, and Peloton did not provide a reason for leaving it out. With this update, that gap has been closed.

For those unfamiliar, Cardio Performance Estimates is a Peloton IQ feature that analyzes your workout history to provide personalized insights before you start a class. When browsing the class library on your hardware device, you’ll see labels like “Harder than your usual,” “Similar to your usual,” or “Slightly easier than your usual” – along with projected output and distance targets for the class.

The goal is to help members select classes that match their current fitness level and training goals without needing to dig into class plans or guess at the difficulty.

The feature requires at least three recent workouts in the same discipline before it activates, so rowers will need a few classes before the estimates start appearing.

Have you been using Cardio Performance Estimates on the Bike or Tread?
