Peloton Launches Core Strength with a Foam Roller Collection

Peloton has launched a new collection dedicated to core strength classes that utilize a foam roller.

The collection is called “Core Strength with a Foam Roller,” and the official description reads:

Try something a little different in these special core strength classes that use a foam roller to challenge you in new ways.

As of publishing time the collection contains five classes, ranging in length from 10 to 20 minutes, all with instructor Robin Arzón. The fact that the description does not specifically mention Robin could indicate that other instructors may begin incorporating a foam roller in their core classes here and there as well. New classes will undoubtedly be added to the collection as they air and become available on-demand.

Peloton has a number of classes available with a foam roller; however, until recently, they have all been dedicated foam roller classes, housed within the stretching modality.

Utilizing a foam roller in a core strength class can help engage deeper muscles due to the necessity of stabilizing on an unstable surface. The goal is to not only build strength, but also to improve posture and enhance body awareness.
