New Advanced “Iron Elite” Program from Assal Arian on Peloton’s Strength+ App

The newest program available in Peloton’s Strength+ app is its second advanced program: “Iron Elite.”

“Iron Elite” is a 3-week advanced Peloton strength program designed by instructor Assal Arian. This is Assal’s third program in the Strength+ platform.

Assal’s newest 3-week program has 90-minute full body workouts 3 times a week.

This link to “Iron Elite” will take you directly to the newest Strength+ program if you are accessing this from a phone with the Strength+ app installed. Otherwise, you will be directed to Peloton’s main Strength+ website.

The official program description for Assal Arian’s “Iron Elite” program is:

“Join Assal for this advanced three day, three week program; driving you to push weight and build elite-level muscle, power and strength. Let’s go!”

Assal shared the following about her new program, saying:

“This is an advanced lifting program designed for experienced lifters who are ready to push their limits. You have to be comfortable with a barbell, maxing out, and training at high intensity. If that sounds like you, here’s what we’re going to do.
Over 3 weeks, you’ll be training 3 days a week focusing on heavy lifts, strength conditioning, and auxiliary work. After 3 weeks, you’ll take a deload week to recover then come back stronger for round 2.”

If you take the “Iron Elite” program as designed, you will use the following gym equipment: dumbbells, kettlebell, barbell, plyo box, trap bar, and a bench. As always with the Strength+ app, if you do not have access to a certain piece of gym equipment, you can swap an exercise out for something comparable.

The suggested program schedule for “Iron Elite” is workouts on days 1, 3, and 5 with recovery on the remaining days.

Weeks 1 through 3

  • Workout 1: 90 minute Full Body Taster
  • Workout 2: 90 minute Full Body Blast
  • Workout 3: 90 minute Full Body Climax

There are now 20 programs on the Peloton Strength+ app.

However, at time of publishing, it remains only available to iOS users in the United States.
